Hancock County opens Ripken Regional with win | Sports & Recreation

They've left Kentucky behind for the Ohio Valley Regional, but Hancock County's Cal Ripken Baseball All-Stars are still hot.

They beat Ross Co. (Ohio) 14-3 in the opening round game of the tournament in Logansport, IN Thursday afternoon.

Hancock's Ryan Baker went 4-for-4 with 3 runs batted in to pace Hancock County, which will play again on Friday morning against Vincennes.
