The Beaver Dam Cafe' is getting a new lease on life.  New owners Terri and Tony Minton are about to begin the process of opening the restaurant that's been part of the city's downtown for decades.

Terri recently told us about their plans to bring back this Ohio County landmark:

"The Beaver Dam Café has been an iconic fixture in downtown Beaver Dam, KY since the 1920’s when it opened as a restaurant and hotel.  Through the years it also served as the Greyhound Bus stop and was famous for its homemade desserts.  It was even included in a write up on local restaurants in New Yorker magazine in March, 1989 that included their recipe for Banana Pudding Pie.
