Collision avoided but two hurt as vehicles wreck | News
Two women were hurt Sunday morning in an accident on KY 762 in Ohio County.
Kentucky State Police say 39-year-old Tricia Vanover was traveling west on 764 in a 2010 Toyota Corolla and when she crested a hill at Myron Howard Lane she saw a vehicle driven by 48-year-old bobbie McGrew of Utica partially across the center line.
Troopers say Vanover swerved to avoid a collsion, lost control and crossed back over the highway where she struck an embankment head on. She was taken to an area hospital by a family member.
McGrew also swerved and troopers say she overcorrected, traveling off the north side of the road where she also hit an embankment, then followed the ditch and overturned. She was taken to Owensboro Medical Health Systems for treatment of her injuries.
