Ohio Co. Sheriff's Office recovers $10,000 in stolen items | News
OHIO COUNTY, KY (WFIE)- The Ohio County Sheriff's Office recently recovered a large amount of stolen property. Earlier this month Deputy Keith Harrell was dispatched to a home in Cromwell about a possible burglary. Deputy Harrell says it looked like one or more people broke into a home. Jewelry, guns, ammunition, electronics, and other items were taken from the home. Deputy Harrell interviewed neighbors and told them to call him if they had any new information. Last week Deputy Harrell received information from a neighbor that lead to the names of possible teenagers involved in the break ins. The Ohio County Sheriff's Office interviewed the teens and were able to locate $10,000 worth of stolen guns, ammunition, and other items stolen from the home. the Sheriff's Office says the investigation is continuing, but says the suspects could face burglary and other theft related charges.
