Hawesville under boil advisory | News

There is a boil advisory in Hawesville until further notice.

Mark Alford, Superintendant of Public Works from the City of Hawesville says it includes the downtown area and west on Hwy. 60 approximately one mile.

A water main break is the reason for the advisroy.

About 300 people are in the boil area. Residents are being asked to boil their water for five minutes before using it.
