If you are one to love the Merchant Outlet Mall shopping experience, and you want to help your precious animals as well, then there is a perfect spot for you to do both.

The Merchant Outlet Mall located at 1900 US Hwy 41 North now has a booth, where the proceeds go to the Humane Society of Henderson County.  This is a Flea "Market" that is actually great for the animals.

There, you will find some great items, vintage or new, interesting or conservative.  The booth, started by Karen Wilson, a volunteer at the shelter, has already been seeing it's fair share of activity.  Joshua Cromer, the Shelter Manager, and Karen, have been busy trying to keep the booth filled.

Cromer states, "I think those who love Outlet Mall shopping, would also like the fact that they can buy some neat stuff, and help a great organization such as ours as well.  The idea is great, and I love that we have this working. Karen has been and I hope continues to be a great asset to our organization."

If you are interested in helping out the Humane Society of Henderson County, and would like more information, go to the Merchant Outlet Mall in Henderson and ask the folks to be directed to the Humane Society booth.  A banner is hung that will also identify the booth.

You can contact Joshua Cromer at shelter, 270-826-8966.  Karen Wilson can be contacted at kwilson@hshcky.org. Volunteer opportunities are available as well, if you would like to offer any help to your local non-profit animal shelter. The Humane Society is located at 203 Drury Lane.
