Women avoid serious injury after car flips in Ohio Co. | News

A 29-year-old Horse Branch woman and the driver of a car she was riding in escaped serious injury on Tuesday when their car flipped after leaving an Ohio County road.
Kentucky State Police say April Lambert and the driver of a 2002 Oldsmobile were traveling northbound on Renfrow Road in Horse Branch when an animal crossed the road in front of them.
20-year-old Tara Dennis of Leitchfield swerved to try to avoid it, but ran off the shouler. The car landed upside down on an earth embankment on the east shoulder.
Both were taken by private vehicle to Twin Lakes Medical Center in Leitchfield for minor injuries.
