Ohio County Fair opens tonight | Events

Carnival rides, pageants, horse and mule shows, exhibits, food booths and contest, a 'golf cart rodeo' and entertainment.  It's all part of the 2012 Ohio County Fair, opening tonight and running through Saturday.

Here's the schedule:

Thursday, September 20th:
Gates will open at 4:00 PM
6:00 PM - Miss Pre-teen Pageant
7:00 PM - Little Miss and Mister Pageant
7:00 PM - Ohio County's first-ever golf cart rodeo

Friday, September 21st:
10:00 a.m. - Gates Open....it's Senior Citizen Day
4:00 PM - 10:00 PM Petting zoo
6:00 PM - 4-H Cupcake Wars, Miss Teen Pageant and a car show and ATV mud bog
7:00 PM Horse and Mule Pull, the third oldest event of its kind in Kentucky
7:00 PM - Mrs. Ohio County Pageant
8:00 PM The ROC Praise and Worship Team

Saturday, September 22nd
Gates open at 10:00 AM
11:00 AM - Tiny Tot and Toddler Pageant
11:00 AM - Pet Show
12:00 PM - Cornhole Tournament
2:00 PM - Carnival rides will open and rides are included with price of admission
4:00 PM - Horse and mule show
4:00 PM - Car show (continues until 10:00 PM)
7:00 PM - Mud Bog
7:00 PM - Miss Ohio County Fair Pageant
8:30 PM - Concert featuring country music recording artist and Ohio County native Scott Lindsey

Admission is $10.
