Ohio Co. teen arrested after an accident

In Ohio County, a Beaver Dam man's arrested after an accident on Liberty Road.

Kentucky State Police say 18-year-old Rocky Hart went off the road and hit a tree just after 3:00 a.m. Thursday morning.

His passenger, 18-year-old Christopher Huff, of Horse Branch, was thrown from the vehicle.

He is being treated at the Owensboro hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Hart was treated and released and taken to the Ohio County jail.

He's charged with wanton endangerment and operating a motor vehicle under the influence.

Lewisport woman arrested on meth, marijuana charges

A traffic stop has led to the arrest of a 20-year-old Lewisport woman on drug charges.

Kentucky State Police say they stopped Shana Wright Monday night about 10:20 on US 62 East in Ohio County.  Inside her vehicle, they say they found meth and the tools to make it, along with marijuana. 

She's in the Ohio County Jail.

Troopers say more arrests could follow and their investigation continues.

Stacy Logsdon has lived in Livermore for nine years.  She says recent break-ins have her a little on edge after a close neighbor’s home was burglarized.

"I had a break in around the corner which was my father's place.  They broke in on Easter Sunday and took expensive stuff."

Police say the trend started that weekend when thieves took thousands of dollars in tools and yard equipment.

Beaver Dam man accused of abusing autistic boy

A Beaver Dam man is in jail, charged with sexually abusing a five-year-old boy. Police arrested 26-year-old Victor Rodriguez Tuesday following an investigation.

Police call this case very disturbing because the child has autism.

Police say he is charged with use of a minor in a sexual performance, and unlawful transaction with a minor.

Rodriguez is being held in the Ohio County Detention Center on a $2,500 full cash bond.

KSP:  Lewisport man arrested with $80,000 worth of marijuana

A 32-year-old Hancock County man is facing drug and weapons charges after Kentucky State Police say they found 20 pounds of marijuana with a street value of $80,000 at a home in Lewisport.

Justin Hodskins was arrested last week after an investigation by the Kentucky State Police Drug Enforcement/Special Investigations Section out of Bowling Green.

On June 14, those agencies  initiated an investigation involving large quantities of Hydroponic grown marijuana in Hancock County.

The Greenville Police Department is offering some peace of mind for residents and business owners who are going away on vacation.

Extra patrols will be provided for those who fill out a form and submit it before they leave.

Residents will be notified of any suspicious activity such as break-ins including broken windows.

Man wanted on parole violation

Authorities are looking for a western Kentucky man for viiolating his parole following a drug conviction.

Jesse Neal, 23, was granted parole supervision in November of last year.

He was convicted in McLean County of Tampering with Anhydrous Ammonia, Knowingly Possession of Anhydrous Ammonia Other than Appropriate Container, Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st Offense (Criminal Facilitation), and Knowingly Possession of Anhydrous Ammonia Othe
