Fire, then meth arrest at rural Hancock County home
A rural Hawesville man was arrested on drug charges after a fire broke out at a home on KY 1389 Thursday afternoon.
Kentucky State Police William Wilkerson was arrested for making meth after Hawesville Fire crews put out a blaze around 4:30.
Officers say they discovered the remnants of a one pot meth lab.
A woman inside the home, Amanda, Adkins, suffered minor burns and was taken to Perry County Memorial Hospital.
The incident is under investigation and KSP says more arrests are likely.
