Community programs benefit from church's rummage, BBQ chicken sales | Community Spirit

There will be a BBQ Chicken & Rummage Sale at Calhoun Christian Church on Main St. in Calhoun this Saturday, July 14. The rummage sale begins at 8 a.m. Whole BBQ chickens and hamburgers will be ready at noon.

All proceeds will be split between two church ministries:

(1) "Feed my Sheep" Ministry (John 21:15-17) which cooks and delivers meals to people in need.  They currently have 12-20 people to deliver to every other Saturday.

(2) "Men's Group" Ministry which takes on odd jobs for people in the community.  Painting, roof repairs, yard work, wheelchair ramps, and plumbing repairs are some examples.
